Musician Alê Alves and actor Manoel Mesquita Júnior present A Little Piece of Brazil (Um Pedacinho do Brasil), a fusion of music and poetry that invites the audience to immerse themselves in the richness of Brazil’s Northeastern culture.
Weaving together verses, stories, and songs, the performance draws from the works of renowned Brazilian poets and writers, blending words and music to reveal the diversity, strength, and beauty of Brazil’s folk culture.
Accompanied by the accordion and other musical elements, the show journeys through traditional rhythms such as xote, baião, xaxado, arrasta-pé, and forró, creating a performance that is joyful, heartfelt, and deeply Brazilian in spirit.
More than just a concert, it is a brief journey through Brazil—exploring its poetry, music, stories, and the culture of a people who sing, dance, and transform their lives into art.
